Lately I have been doing a lot of thinking about how I don’t want my little boy to grow up. He is absolutely perfect and over the past four months he has created such a fun personality. He loves to “talk”, suck his fingers, give me “kisses”, play with your hands, touch your face, and smile. He enjoys bath time, has learned to roll from his back to his belly and his belly to his back. He tries to sit up on his own, but he’s not quite strong enough yet. He loves to be held and cuddled. He loves to hold your hands and stand up on your lap. He loves to be kissed (I have found if I kiss his face over and over again he will seriously fall asleep.) He would rather be held then sat on the floor. He has a short attention span and will give you the lip or start pouting until he gets what he wants, most times that means he wants to be held! He has learned to blow bubbles and rasp his lips together. He has started on some cereal and has taken to it very well. He loves to watch people and be outside of the home. In just four months my little baby boy has learned so much. He has taught me how to love all over again. He has shown me what it truly feels like to be needed and wanted. I hope that in the future he continues to be my lovable cuddly little guy that enjoys kisses from his momma. I can’t imagine my life without him and I only hope to be the best mother to him.
I went back through and looked at pictures from my pregnancy and realized how special having a baby is. I was thankful enough to have a pretty easy pregnancy. Really only one day of morning sickness and a little nauseous on occasion, but other than that I had a very healthy pregnancy. (That does not mean I did not have aches and pains, swollen feet and major back pain, because I did!) Everything else though was pretty normal. Grayson is the light of my life and I am so happy to be his mommy. It’s fun to look back and see how much I changed over my pregnancy. I enjoyed doing a weekly board to see the changes that were made and to watch my belly grow! I can’t wait until Grayson is older and I can show him that, that was him inside my belly! My husband was a trooper for me and was my designated photographer every week. He would always take a ridiculous amount of pictures with only about 2 being good enough pictures to choose from, the rest being bloopers!
And finally on week 40 we had to take one of my husband!
You are SO, SO adorable. I love your hair!
