I love Christmas and all that it entails, but what makes Christmas even better is having a baby to share all the fun with! This year Grayson got to open his presents from “New Jersey” Santa early as we left for Indiana before Christmas. I was very shocked that he participated in ripping off the wrapping paper from the presents. He enjoyed it and would get mad if he was unable to get the paper ripped. Little did he know he would get to tear lots more paper off presents when we had all of our Christmas get togethers in Indiana. Brent and I both having divorced parents makes our Holidays a little more hectic than some. We have so many places we have to go it not only was wearing Grayson out, but I was actually pretty exhausted myself. Grayson was so spoiled this year, he probably will be spoiled every year, but that’s perfectly fine with me. Kids are only kids once, so spoil the heck out of them!
Grayson was such a trooper seeing all of his family. I was a little worried of him being tossed around like a sack of potatoes and crying as he may not have remembered some people. We were around a lot of people! However to my surprise he did great. He never threw any fits and was such a happy baby the whole time we were home. The only time he really was fussy is when he was hungry or ready for a nap or bed. We have been so blessed with such a good baby!
Grayson is so loved that it melts my heart seeing how much everyone loves him. He will instantly bring a smile to anyone’s face. Christmas morning I was so excited for Grayson to open his gifts. The tree was lit up and the stockings were hung from the stairway. Grayson again thoroughly enjoyed opening his gifts and playing with them along the way.
We enjoyed our time home for the Holidays and I took way to many pictures to share on here, but I will share with you a handful from Grayson’s first Christmas!
Love to all and thank you for making our trip home for the Holidays one we will never forget!!
